Hello.
I’m Katie. I’m a Clinical Psychologist, and I have always felt a little off the beaten path as a psychologist. That it was a round peg, square hole kind of deal, and I ought to try to be a better square.
Then I started my own practice. Here I found my home as a psychologist. Here, I got to create my own space. I leaned into bringing myself into therapy, into teaching, into being a psychologist.
When I got to thinking about how I was going about it all, I realised I was tapping into a part of me that got a little sacrificed somewhere along the way in my career, the part of me that is equal measures breezy and audacious. And perhaps, this part may be one of the most important pieces to being a good psychologist. And a happy one. So here we are, the unscripted psychologist. Welcome.
